Guest Artist Workshop

Each year the LDYE hosts a guest artist for a workshop and concert. Members of both the Preparatory Orchestra and the Principal Ensemble join the artist for a hands on workshop, usually in a style that expands musical horizons — tango, improv, or folk. This is followed by a free public concert attended by students from area schools. There is also a public session open to all local musicians regardless of age, not just LDYE members.
